Refund Policy
Clear and transparent guidelines on cancellations and alterations.
1. Cancellation Policy
We understand that plans change. You may cancel your tailoring order under the following conditions:
- Before Fabric Pickup: You can cancel your order anytime before our representative picks up the fabric for a full refund of any advance payment.
- After Fabric Pickup, Before Cutting: If you cancel after pickup but before the fabric is cut, a small convenience fee will be deducted, and the remaining advance will be refunded. Your fabric will be returned to you.
- After Cutting Begins: Once the fabric has been cut according to your measurements, the order cannot be cancelled, and the advance payment is non-refundable.
2. Alterations & Adjustments
At Urban Hem, we strive for the perfect fit. Since tailoring is a highly personalized service, we do not offer refunds on completed garments. However, we stand by our craftsmanship:
- If the finished garment does not fit due to an error on our part, we will provide free alterations within 7 days of delivery.
- If alterations are required due to incorrect measurements provided by you, or if you request design changes after delivery, additional charges may apply.
3. Refund Processing
If you are eligible for a refund, it will be processed and credited to your original method of payment within 5-7 business days.
4. How to Request a Cancellation or Alteration
To request a cancellation or report an issue with your finished garment, please log into your account dashboard or contact our support team immediately at support@urbanhem.in.
